Today's my birthday
..and I don’t mean to be full of self pity but my Mom was gone all morning working and just got home now…at 3:30 in the afternoon.
My dad wasn’t home either. He arrived back around 1:30 pm
We were supposed to go out for breakfast. we didn’t.
My brother however, did say happy birthday :) and he bought me something :)
Happily, I have a family (aunts, uncles, cousins) birthday dinner later at 6 pm.
When my Dad found out he said “why does everyone have to go?” and was kind of pissy about it.
I just wanted to say “why are you being so selfish? Its my birthday, not yours, and I want to spend it with my family”
*sigh* I’m still happy and grateful, but I just had to point this out.
When I have a family of my own, birthdays are going to be important. Because we love you :)
In my family…birthdays are pretty insignificant.
Anyways, happy 20th birthday to me :D
No matter what happens the rest of the day I will have a good time :)
